ROC the Riverway Weekend is coming up, October 5th through 7th, and will feature more than three dozen events highlighting the Genesee River in Rochester.
There will also be events to help visitors learn about the ongoing ROC the Riverway riverfront development program.
A snapshot of some things going on this weekend:
Buskers will perform Friday on the Pont de Rennes Bridge followed by couples renewing the vows at 7:30pm.
Tours of the Lower Falls and Gorge, Guided Paddle on the river and a pop-up skatepark all go on on Saturday.
And Sunday, the weekend wraps up with a Charlotte Cemetery Tour, a Guided Bike Ride from Seneca Park to the Port of Rochester and a Family Skate at Genesee Valley Ice Rink.
