Rochester School Board says complaint filed against 3 employees, including the Supt.

The Rochester School Board now says that an internal complaint has been filed against three RCSD employees, including Supt. of Schools Lesli Myers-Small by another district employee.

Initially, when the news broke on Thursday night, as first reported by the Democrat and Chronicle, there was word that the board held an emergency meeting and decided to hire outside counsel to investigation an allegation of harassment against Myers-Small.

On Friday, the board released a statement saying that an internal complaint has been filed against three employees, including Myers-Small. The other employees were not identified.

The city school district has hired the law firm of Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP to serve as outside counsel “to oversee an independent and thorough investigation of the facts underlying the complaint.”

The school board says it will not be commenting further on the allegations as it awaits findings and recommendations of the outside counsel.

There has been no comment yet from Central Office at the district or Myers-Small on the allegations.
