RCSD limits the number of spectators during fall sports

The Rochester City School District is implementing a limit on spectators for fall sports because of COVID-19.

The district notes that the first games began last week, and to keep people safe, they will limit the number of spectators to two per athlete for all games, both indoors and out.

The district is also requiring that all spectators wear masks and that they practice social distancing at the school sports events. For athletic events at other school districts, spectators will be asked to follow their protocols.

Rochester school officials say the policy is subject to change at any time based on current local guidance and rates of community transition.
