Officials investigating additional COVID-19 cases linked to Slavic Pentecostal Church

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The Monroe County Department of Public Health is urging anyone who has visited the Slavic Pentecostal Church at 4925 West Ridge Road in Spencerport at any time since August 23 should contact the department.

This is after the health department reported earlier this week that several cases of COVID-19 were connected to that church. On Friday, officials said that now, about 20 individuals from different households who attended the church since August 23, or had contact with someone who did, have tested positive for the virus.

Officials say that anyone who was at the service should be alert for symptoms of the coronavirus.

Health officials say that you can contact the department by calling 585-753-5555 or emailing:

COVID19@monroecounty.gov.
