NY Wine & Culinary Center To Look For New Manager

North Country Public Radio

The New York Wine and Culinary Center in Canandaigua will be looking for a new general manager.  After just about seven months on the job, Thomas Belelieu has left that position.

The president of the center, Ginny Clark, tells WXXI News that the decision for him to leave was mutually agreed upon  by both the facility and Belelieu, and she says they parted ways amicably.

The 64 year old Belelieu came to Canandaigua last fall with an international reputation in the training of sommeliers (people who serve wines), and he also had worked for the Disney Companies for several years.

Clark says that the wine and culinary center has been doing well in terms of attendance and they hope to open up a search for a new manager this fall.
