There were some initial computer glitches, but the health insurance marketplace in New York is working well.

That's according to Elizabeth Benjamin, Vice President for Health Initiative for the Community Service Society of New York.

She's with one of the navigators of the system.

After some computer problems slowed down the New York Health Exchange at first, she says it's now running great.

She says people have plenty of options on ways to enroll in New York: online, through a call center, or through a number of navigator agencies statewide.

Her agency has 38 subcontractors, serving 61 of 62 counties in the state.

She says those subcontractors have more people than they can handle right now, and it would be nice to have more resources.

But New York has a "lot of boots on the ground, and many people trained."

Benjamin adds the marketplace is saving New Yorkers money, and we're lucky to have such a robust navigator system to help people find affordable health care.
