Monroe County reports nearly 200 new COVID-19 cases; 18 new deaths

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Monroe County on Tuesday reported another 196 new cases of COVID-19. The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 223 new cases per day.

There were 18 new deaths, those occurred between April 10 and April 20. There have been 1,244 deaths.

The seven-day rolling average positivity rate is 2.8%.

There are 207 people hospitalized in the Finger Lakes region; 48 people are in ICU.

In terms of vaccinations, the percentage of New Yorkers with at least one vaccine dose is 44.6%. The percentage of people with the completed vaccine series is 31.9%.
