Monroe County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo has appointed a new medical examiner.
Dr. Nadia Granger will fill the position held by Dr. Caroline Dignan for the past ten years. Dignan has accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center
County Executive Cheryl Dinolfo says that Granger, who has served as the county’s associate medical examiner since 2011, has ten years of experience in medical investigations, pathology, and laboratory medicine, with medical and forensic experience in both the public and private sector.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner's office serves Monroe and nine surrounding counties.
