As the KeyBank Rochester Fringe Festival continues this week, eight of Rochester's leading actresses will take the stage to portray 22 different women exploring universal themes such as grief, motherhood, dating, and survival.
"Between Silences"is an original work by local poet and playwright S.J. Henschel. The short pieces look at various slices of life, such as a widow's brief connection with a dog she meets in the park; a mother's letter to the daughter who just made her a grandmother; and a middle-aged woman who feels self-conscious about entering the dating scene after her divorce.
