The latest numbers on COVID-19 in Monroe County, released on Saturday, show that 11 of the 108 people hospitalized are in the ICU on a ventilator. That is the lowest number of ICU patients since the county began providing data in late March.
The number of hospitalizations also has been declining for the last several days.
As of Saturday’s numbers, there were 16 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, ranging from a child under 10 to a man in his 80s.
There were 2 new deaths since Friday, for a total of 259 to date. So far there have been 3,338 confirmed cases of the virus.
