Greece Police are investigating vandalism at a local church as a hate crime. They say that red spray paint was used on several parts of the exterior of the North Greece Road Church of Christ.
According toSpectrum News, Church of Christ Minister William Jones said that the incident is “upsetting, because not only of the damage it does, but what it represents.” He said that he is “concerned about the person who feels compelled to do such a thing.”
Police believe this is an isolated situation and at this point they do not think they are dealing with a rash of incidents like this.
