Fringe Festival Sings & Dances Its Way Into The New Week

The First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival continues through the weekend and into the new week, with more than 500 performances in over 25 venues.

The Spiegeltent, located near Main and Gibbs Streets, continues to draw some of the biggest crowds, including the 'Cabinet of Wonders' which is billed as "physical comedy, contortion, juggling, aerial dance, and a one-legged tap dancer." (pics by photographer Fred SanFilipo  of that revue are in this story).

The Fringe Festival runs through Saturday, September 26th.

Among the free shows this weekend, on Sunday, is 'Gospel Sunday, '  at Kilbourn Hall at the  Eastman School of Music.
