Frigid cold to settle in over WNY and the Finger Lakes for the next several days

The immediate Rochester Metro area was able to avoid heavy snow Christmas Day, but it won't escape this week's frigid cold.

The high on Tuesday will be around 15 degrees, and it will likely stay in that range for the next several days.

There is a Winter Storm Watch for Wayne County from Tuesday evening through Wed. morning.

On Monday evening, Livingston County Sheriff Tom Dougherty advised no unnecessary travel until 3am Tuesday due to poor visibility. 

There is a Lake Effect Snow Warning for Wyoming and nearby counties until 6pm on Wednesday.
