Food processing company to add 22 jobs in Monroe and Genesee Counties

A frozen food processing company in this region will expand and add nearly two dozen jobs.

That according to officials with Empire State Development, New York’s economic development agency which says that Bonduelle USA  will expand operations in Monroe and Genesee Counties.

The firm is investing in new equipment and machinery at its facilities in Brockport, Bergen and Oakfield. The expansion will result in the addition of 22 new jobs and will also help retain 340 jobs.

Bonduelle is a canned and frozen vegetable producer with sites in the U.S. , Canada and Brazil.

Empire State Development has offered up to $700,000 in performance-based tax credits.

The total project cost is $20 million.
