Feng Claims Wegmans LPGA Championship

China's Shanshan Feng picked the right day to shoot the lowest score of the week at Locust Hill. With her final round 67 on Sunday, she captured the 2012 Wegmans LPGA Championship.

Feng is the first person born in mainland China to win an LPGA event.

She says she doesn't look at the leaderboard, and never got nervous because she didn't think she was leading.

Her six-under-par 282 total was two shots better than four other golfers.

Feng is the seventh player to record her first LPGA victory in the LPGA Championship.

Rochester has been home to the LPGA’s major championship for the third year now, and negotiations are underway to determine if the local tournament will still be contested as a major next year.
