A Rochester City School District sophomore died Tuesday after collapsing at school.
In a statement, Superintendent Terry Dade said the Edison Career & Technology High School student was in gym class when it happened. The student’s cause of death and identity are unknown.
Grief counselors from the district are at the school to help students and staff process their grief. Mayor Lovely Warren says her office will also be reaching out to offer support and assistance.
