COVID-19 data released Sunday by Monroe County: 180 new cases, infection rate is 2%

The latest numbers on COVID-19 in Monroe County released on Sunday show 180 new cases. There were no new deaths.

The seven-day rolling average positivity rate for Monroe County is 2.0%.

The seven-day rolling average of new cases is 164 new cases per day.

The Finger Lakes region has a seven-day average positivity rate of 1.94%.

On Sunday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said that 29.2% of New Yorkers have at least one vaccine dose and 16.3% have had the completed vaccine series.

In the Finger Lakes, 31.5% of the population has had one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 17% of the population in the region has had the completed series.
