Connections is preempted Tuesday and Wednesday, as WXXI News brings you NPR’s coverage of the public hearings of the House Impeachment Inquiry into President Donald Trump.

Tuesday, November 19

Live coverage start time 9 a.m.:

Jennifer Williams, an aide to Vice President Mike Pence, and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the director for European Affairs at the National Security Council, have been called to testify.

In the afternoon, Kurt Volker, the former US special envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, a former National Security Council official, are expected to testify. The GOP minority had requested that Volker and Morrison testify.

US ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland is expected to testify; Wednesday afternoon, the committee will hear from Laura Cooper, a Defense Department official, and David Hale, the Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs. The Republicans had also asked for Hale to testify.
