Connections: Gun Control Activist Nardyne Jefferies

Nardyne Jefferies' 16-year-old daughter, Brishell Jones, was killed by a bullet from an assault rifle in a mass shooting in 2010.

Jefferies believes gun laws won't change until more Americans -- and more politicians -- see the bodies of children who have been killed by gunfire. That's why she routinely shows photosof her daughter's body to lawmakers.

Her story has been compared to that of Emmett Till, the 14-year-old boy who was murdered after flirting with a white woman in 1955.

Jefferies joins us for the hour.
