Coming up on Connections: Monday, March 3rd

12 noon: Science Roundtable

1pm: Dialogue on Disability looks at MS

1:30: AIDS in America, and a look at the current state of the disease in Rochester

At noon, it's our first-ever Science Roundtable. Every month we'll welcome a new panel of local researchers, doctors, and scientists to discuss a range of science-related issues. For example: What's really in the water in West Virginia? How could we donate part of our cell phones to science research? That's just the start of the conversations.

At 1pm, we examine the disease that is diagnosed 200 times every week in this country: MS.

At 1:30, the story of AIDS in America is, strangely, sometimes forgotten in 2014. It was a huge story 30 years ago, but complacency has taken AIDS largely off our radar. The JCC CenterStage is getting ready to perform the Tony-Award-winning play The Normal Heart this month, and director Ralph Meranto explains why we can't forget about the AIDS epidemic.
