Coming Up On Connections: Friday, August 1st

First Hour: The new Music Director of the RPO

Second Hour: Pairing wine & music in the Finger Lakes.

On this Arts Friday, in our first hour, from Noon to 1:00 p.m:  The newly selected Music Director of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra Ward Stare joins us, joined by Mark Kellogg, Principal Trombone for the RPO who was also part of the search committee that chose the new music director.

Join hosts Brenda Tremblay & Frank Cegelski as they help us learn more about the youngest conductor in the RPO's history.

In our 2nd hour from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m:  Wine and music have the potential to pair just as beautifully as wine and food. In the Finger Lakes, there’s a growing wine-and-music scene, and guests will include Lisa Hallgren, co-owner of Ravines Wine Cellars, as well as some area classical musicians who will be playing a few pieces during the hour.
