A prominent Genesee County manufacturing company is expanding. Batavia-based Graham Corporation which designs and builds vacuum and heat transfer equipment for energy markets and other industries worldwide, is diversifying its local operation.
It will convert its current warehouse space into office and lab facilities and Graham is also building additional space which will allow it to double the size of its welding training program.
Graham expects to create up to 10 jobs as part of the expansion. The total project costs a little more than $2 million and Empire State Development is providing up to $250,000 through the Excelsior Jobs Program in exchange for the job creation commitment. Genesee County is also providing incentives for the project.
Graham has been headquartered in Batavia since 1936.
