Arrest in Henrietta Murder

Rochester, NY – The Monroe County Sheriff's Department said a suspect has been arrested in the murder of a Henrietta man The body of 66-year old Roy McCaffery, who served in the United Methodist Church in the Syracuse area from 1955 to 1985 but was neverordained, was found Tuesday night.Sheriff's deputies made the discovery after McCaffery failed to pick up his wife from work as planned, and she called 911. The house did not appear to have been ransacked, but a door was found ajar and the family car was missing from the driveway.27-year old Jacob Kavaceich of Rochester was found sleeping inside of the dead man's stolen car by police in Monroe County Michigan. Kavaceich will be brought back to Rochester, where he faces second degree murder charges. Undersheriff Patrick O'Flynn said Kavaceich was always a suspect. But refused to discuss details of the case.
