Police prepare for the funeral of Rochester Police Department Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz.

New York state and local officials joined first responders from a number of police and other public safety agencies on Monday, Aug. 1, to remember Rochester Police Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, who was killed while on duty the night of July 21, 2022.

Officers came by the hundreds from across the state and beyond to say farewell to one of their own.
