Prostitution-related Charge Against Attorney John Parrinello Expected To Be Dismissed

npr.org

A charge of patronizing a prostitute against prominent local defense attorney John Parrinello is expected to be dropped.

A Gates Town Judge on Wednesday tossed out the case citing a lack of evidence. The assistant district attorney on the case said there was not enough evidence to pursue the charge.

The 76 year old Parrinello had repeatedly denied the accusation that he solicited a prostitute last August at a Gates motel.

Under the ruling on Wednesday, an agreement where the charge is adjourned in contemplation of dismissal, the charge will be dropped as long as Parrinello doesn’t break the law over the next six months.
