QCI Direct Releases Statement About The Loss Of Jane Glazer

QCI Direct, the catalog company founded by Jane Glazer, has  issued a statement in connection with last Friday's small plane crash that took the lives of Larry and Jane Glazer. The catalog company began in 1983 and now has more than 100 employees.

This is the statement that QCI officials released on Sunday:

The management and staff at QCI Direct are shocked and saddened by the sudden, tragic passing of CEO, Jane Glazer and her husband Larry Glazer. As founder of QCI Direct, Jane’s vision of a running a business that personified a “Sure, No Problem” attitude has guided the company’s tremendous thirty one years of success and distinction as a Rochester Top 100 company.

“Jane embodied creativity and energy in everything she did. Her leadership was marked by a passion that will endure in those of us who were fortunate enough to be her colleagues,” said Beth Meyer, company President. The company's leadership team will continue handling day-to-day responsibilities and management of QCI Direct.

In addition to their businesses, Jane and Larry gave endlessly of their time and resources to grow and benefit the Rochester Community.

This is an immeasurable loss for Rochester and the Glazer family, who remain in our thoughts and prayers.
