High Wind Warning for Rochester & Finger Lakes
High Winds are expected for Rochester and the Finger Lakes region Tuesday night and into early Wednesday.
The National Weather Service issued the High Wind Warning with predictions of strong winds from the West at 30 to 45 miles per hour and gusts up to 65 miles per hour.
The wind warning says tree limbs ad power lines could come down causing sporadic power outages.
The warning is in effect from 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The powerful winds will usher a return to colder temperatures. Tuesday's afternoon temperatures were in the mid 40s. Wednesday's high temperature is only expected to be in the low 20s.
