www.kodak.com

Kodak has signed an agreement with a Swiss manufacturer to come up with products for the packaging industry. Commercial printing and packaging are two of the main focuses of Kodak now that it has emerged from bankruptcy.

Kodak signed an agreement with a company called Bobst, which supplies equipment and services to companies that make folding cartons and other types of packaging.

Kodak spokeswoman Krista Gleason says this is an important industry for her company to be involved with.

"It represents one of the key strategies for the new Kodak, which is to partner with other leading companies to develop and bring to market innovative solutions for customers ."

Gleason says the Swiss firm is working on developing products based on Kodak technology.
