First hour: Discussing the Child Poverty Reduction Act
Second hour: What's new in the young adult and middle grade book scenes?The New York State Legislature passed the Child Poverty Reduction Act. The goal of the legislation is to cut childhood poverty in half within ten years. Now, the bill awaits Governor Andrew Cuomo's signature.
