The 30th annual Athena Awards were handed out Thursday, and Rochester City Councilperson Elaine Spaull got the main award. She is also Executive Director for the Center for Youth.
The second annual Athena Young Professional Award went to Melanie Wolk, an attorney and partner at Trevett Cristo Salzer & Andolina.
The Athena Award is given out by the Women's Council of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce to a professional female leaders who has demonstrated significant achievements in business, community service, and the professional advancement of women.
