In WXXI’s Sharp Ears series, we’ve been hearing from composers and how what they listen to seeps into their music. Last week we heard from Pulitzer prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon, and today it’s composer Mark Olivieri’s turn. He’s an Assistant Professor of Music at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and he’s thought a lot about what kind of music draws him in.
