Officials with the Wegmans LPGA Championship say they haven't heard whether the event will return to Locust Hill in 2014.
But Linda Hampton, tournament director, says they are optimistic they will be doing another major championship here in Rochester in 2014.
She says in the past, the tour has asked her to consider other courses in Rochester.
But they're not prepared at this point to talk about any change in venue for next year.
Hampton says they will be talking about plans for 2014 shortly.
And according to golfchannel.com, discussions are underway to bring the tournament to Monroe Golf Club next year.
The deal would also include moving the dates of the tournament to August because the the US Women's Open is being moved to June 19th through the 22nd.
Hampton adds because of all the rain, this year's LPGA Championship will be remembered as a competition between mother nature and the best women golfers in the world.
