Wegmans has been ranked #1 on a list of the 2018 Best Workplaces in Retail.
The ranking comes from FORTUNE magazine and the organization Great Place to Work. It’s based on anonymous surveys representing more than 631,000 employees from Great Place to Work-certified companies in the retail industry.
It’s the third consecutive year that Wegmans has ranked #1 on the list.
Wegmans CEO Colleen Wegman said, “Thank goodness for our employees. They make Wegmans a happy place to work and shop. Their work is both meaningful and fun, and that’s an unbeatable combination.”
Great Place to Work also considers an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation and the effectiveness of their leaders when they come up with the rankings.
