It appears all spending plans were approved in the budget votes taken in Monroe County and nearby communities on Tuesday.
That includes a budget that will see Pittsford implement full-day kindergarten. Pittsford is one of the few districts across the state that does not provide that program.
Among other budgets approved is one in Fairport, that includes some teacher cuts, including some through attrition. Those position cuts are attributed in part to declining enrollment.
A number of school transportation and other measures were approved throughout the area including one for school building additions and renovations in Penfield.
Greece is one of the largest suburban school districts in the region. Voters there approved a spending plan by a nearly 3 to 1 margin and also approved propositions for bus replacement and some infrastructure improvements
No district in Monroe County tried to go above the state tax cap on school budgets.
