Round 'Em Up for a Rodeo in Rochester

City of Rochester

Rochester is jumping on the food truck bandwagon, with the first of five "Food Truck Rodeos" scheduled for Wednesday night at the Public Market.

Over 30 vendors signed up for the event according to Jim Farr, Assistant Director for Recreation for the City of Rochester.

Farr says the vendors serve everything from wood fired pizza to poutine to sushi -- or anything else you can cook up in a truck.

Local brewers Rohrbach and Genesee are also taking part.

And the musical entertainment is local, too.

Based on the popularity of two Food Truck Rodeos last year, five have been scheduled for this year, on the last Wednesday of the month through September.

Each starts at 5 p.m. at the Public Market.
