Rochester Police officials are investigating an incident where two men were shot by police on Monday morning on the northeast side.
It happened around 11:30a.m. on Burbank Street, which runs off of North Clinton Avenue.
Deputy Police Chief LaRon Singletary is quoted by the D&C as saying that one of the two men suffered serious injuries and both of the men were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
Reportedly the men were shot by police as officers from several police agencies were serving a search warrant at a residence on Burbank Street. No officers were injured.
A number of streets around that area were closed to traffic at midday.
