Monroe County deputies look for missing Perinton couple

Monroe County Deputies say they are investigating the disappearance of a Perinton couple.

An alert has been issued for 73 year old Robert Ross and his wife, 72 year old Mary Ross.

Investigators say that Robert Ross had a medical appointment on January 30th and has not been seen since. When Ross did not show up for future medical appointments, the sheriff’s department conducted an investigation, notified the couple’s son who lives out of the area and a missing persons’ report was filed.

Deputies say the last known contact with Mary Ross was on January 29th in a phone conversation between Mary and her son.

Authorities say they are using numerous investigative tools in their search.

On Friday morning, a State Police helicopter was used to search an area near Lake Ave. in Charlotte and the Lake Ontario shoreline, but nothing was found. The Sheriff’s Dept. is now using drones to help with the search.

Anyone who may have seen the couple is asked to call 911.

Robert Ross is described as a white male, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, bald with brown eyes.

Mary Ross is described as a white female, 5’4”, 160 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.

Their vehicle is a 2017 white Kia Sorrento, with a license plate: BLUSTERY (vanity plate)
