Leticia Astacio has been removed from her office as City Court judge.

Rochester City Court Judge Leticia Astacio on Monday pleaded guilty to one of the probation violations against her, in exchange for time already served in jail.

She had been back in jail since last Thursday following a court appearance over her latest alleged probation violation related to her 2016 DWI conviction.

On Monday, according to Spectrum News,Astacio said that, “I pleaded guilty to get out of jail,”  …who doesn’t plead guilty to get out of jail? Jail sucks.”

As part of a plea agreement, which saw her other alleged probation violations dropped, Astacio will remain on probation and will need to resume wearing an alcohol monitoring device.

Astacio has not heard cases since her drunk driving conviction.
