Greenlight Networks, which last month just announced the expansion of its broadband services into the west side of Monroe County with service in the Town of Gates, will apparently now be moving into one of the largest towns in the county.
A notice from Greece Town Supervisor Bill Reilich says he will be making an announcement on Tuesday regarding Greenlight expanding its fiber-optic network into that town.
Greenlight Networks started up in 2011, and had been moving into Rochester neighborhoods a little at a time, but with the infusion of capital through Golisano’s investment, the company has stepped up its expansion efforts.
Its website already indicates several communities it has services in, including parts of several east side towns and the City of Rochester.
