It will be a very busy weekend for two major local universities this weekend.
The University of Rochester has its Meliora Weekend, which includes a variety of activities for the alumni and families who come to visit the campus and surrounding area.
That includes a talk on Saturday morning by ABC Good Morning America host Robin Roberts, and a discuss of legal issues on Saturday afternoon with a panel that includes CNN analyst Jeffrey Toobin and legal scholar and UR grad Arthur Miller.
The Meliora Village returns this year to the Wilson Quadrangle, with family activities and student performances.
At RIT, it is Brick City Homecoming & Family Weekend, and several thousand students, alumni and others are expected at the RIT vs. Northeastern University hockey game Saturday night at the Blue Cross Arena. Also during the weekend, Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show will be appearing Saturday afternoon at the Gordon Field House.
